We had a lovely week between Christmas and New Year's Day where my darling didn't have to work at all. The babies all filled up on lots of quality Daddy time and they loved every minute of it. Sam and I even got to sit down together during the daylight (!) and do some business and household planning together. It was so nice to discuss these things when we were both awake and alert! lol
So, well rested and ready for anything, Sam went back to work yesterday and "knocked out" (as he likes to say) a bunch of jobs. I wasn't quite so eager to hop back in the saddle and, I hate to admit it, I sort of took an extra day of being lazy. . . But I was still sick yesterday from the cold that Angie gave us, so I guess I could use that as a handy excuse. I'm back on top of things today, though. Mostly.
Coincidentally, last night Sarah slept better than she has in about two weeks. I think it must be because all the holiday excitement and upset routines are done and she can go back to her previous habits . . .
