Feeding Frenzy?

My dear little Anna seems to wanted to eat every hour or so yesterday . . . We somehow managed to accomplish school time, but I managed precious little else. How, I wonder, will I be able to complete the girls costumes in time for Sunday if I can't manage to put the baby down for more than a few minutes at a time? I do hope she's just trying to increase my milk supply and we'll move on in a day or so.

In other, but related, news: Anna can smile! And she's been doing it for a couple of weeks now. Our pediatrician is great and he trusts me just as much as I trust him, but I knew he wouldn't believe she was already smiling at us. Fortunately for us, and much to our doctors delight, she smiled at him when she had a weight check last week.

She has also just started to try to talk to us. She's only done it twice so far, but her little legs get wiggling and her arms start flailing and she makes a whole bunch of funny faces and finally, out comes that little "Ah!" She makes us all giggle, of course, and then she smiles at us.

Well, right now the baby is actually sleeping. I suspect she'll be up in a moment or two so I really should be doing something more around the house. Or napping with her! :)

Rosie was a really clingy baby. I could only put her down for about 45 minutes in the afternoon...just enough time to prep dinner! And that's what I frantically did every afternoon, so I'd be all ready to cook one-handed later. :-)

Whether she's a clingy baby or she's just having a hungry week, remember it's only a short season.

Love you!
