Don't tell them, but Katie, Josie and Sarah really are still babies. Changing over to all this big girl stuff has been very tiring for them. And after a full day yesterday and another night in their toddler beds, they've been overwhelmed.
They were awake just a little before 8:00 this morning and about a minute after eight, they came out of their room and found me. All by themselves. *sigh*
After breakfast and a whole morning of intense play involving every single block they could find everyone was tired again. Though we haven't been taking naps very often lately, all three of them were requesting naps in their own way. Sarah kept telling me "Mommy, I want da bed!" Katie and Josie were much more subtle about it: They kept falling and running into things and tripping over each other. When we finally got to the point that everyone was crying over an injury at the same time, I decided to give in and set up naps.
So today, my big girl babies all got a nap at 11:30 in the morning, just three and a half hours after waking up.
