Morning and Afternoon Activities

You may have noticed that I have been posting some activities this week. Crafty things the children and I have done together. This is because I am trying to do a special activity every morning and every afternoon with them. Sometimes an activity will be something like swimming at Grandma's house, or grocery shopping. Sometimes it's a craft or drawing time at the table. We use clay, search books for certain letters, hide toys and try to find them, or run around the back yard 2 times (that's extra exercise AND a counting lesson! lol)

I have many ideas and a few books on the subject, but I'd love to hear your ideas on special crafts or games you've tried that worked great for your little ones. Keep in mind the age group here: two 2 year olds and one 1 year old!

Thanks for the input!

We like to do puzzles, where I'll pretend I don't know where a piece goes and I'll try to fit it into the wrong spot and she'll correct me; we like to play pictionary too (if your drawing skills are up to it) on her magnadoodle board, or even on paper with crayons; we just learned how to use watercolors and play dough is a favorite sculpting substance...let me know if you want more details!
