Sarah woke up last night at about a quarter to two in the morning. I brought her to bed with me and snuggled her up close as she nuzzled her head into my shoulder. She smelled so sweet, like Johnson & Johnson shampoo and pure baby. She began to squirm her legs a little, so I put my leg over hers. Her breathing became heavy and her body relaxed. I thought she was sleeping.
About a half an hour later, she turned her face up to mine and said "I'm stuck, Mommy!"
Yes, little dear. Go to sleep.

I love those moments! Like when Angie makes some absurd comment after joining us in bed and then falls right back to sleep while we laugh our heads off!
