Sunshine

I know. You're probably not as interested in hearing about my children as I am in talking about them. But they really are all so incredible I just can't help it and since this is my blog, I get to say whatever I want.

Today I want to talk about Sarah. She wakes up happy no matter what. Even if it's 2:00 in the morning, she's ready to smile and babble. If she's on the floor playing and I look at her, she smiles at the attention. If I pick her up, she giggles with delight. If I tickle her or flip her upside down for silly kisses, her belly laughs fill the house with infectious merriment. She's pure sunshine.

I'm not saying that Katie and Josie aren't happy and fun. They are. But Sarah just has this way of making everyone she sees a little happier. Random grumps in the grocery store don't stand a chance if she should choose to point her cuteness in their direction. It's a powerful weapon of mass distraction that she skillfully wields against family and strangers alike. I'm convinced that the secret to world peace lies somewhere in her sparkling eyes.

How beautiful! A posting to print out and put in her baby book or another "special" place for her when she grows up. I still love when my mom talks about me when I was a baby 26 years ago!
