It seems my use of elipses is bothersome to some of you. Maybe all of you, it's just that some are more vocal about it than others.
Even as I'm typing right now, I can feel my fingers itching to tap out that "dot, dot, dot" but you will notice that I haven't used it once so far in this post! This is part of my new plan to eliminate them from my writing. It has become a nasty habit.
Maybe letting go of this crutch will lead me to writing better posts . . .

Actually, I used them in the title and at the very end of the post. Shame on you for not noticing!
Actually, we did notice, but we only counted the ones before you said, "I haven't used it once so far in this post." The punctuation police miss nothing. Never assume we are not watching.
