You can't count today, as it has already begun, and therefore is nearly finished! So that leaves Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. And then, of course, you can't count Monday, because that is the day that it happens on. I can't even call that one much of a stretch because my appointment is early on Monday. Almost Sunday, even! So there are only four days left until we meet our new baby!
If I take it one step further, I can even get rid of Sunday as a full day of waiting, because there will be much to do that evening. And since we will be reporting to the hospital so early on Monday morning, I doubt we'll get much sleep Sunday night. Okay, I admit that I'm trying to stretch this one a bit. It would be nice to say "three days left" but for today, I'll leave it at four!
There have been many times in the last few days that I have wished it was done. In fact, Sam asked me last night if I wanted to move the C-section up a week! (That would mean that we had already had it!) I, being in pain at the time, immediately and without hesitation, said "Yes!" But, of course, that just isn't possible. And the reward at the end of it all is certainly worth the wait!

A Citation:
16 sentences in this post, and 8 of them end with exclamation points. That's a 50% EUR (Exclamation Use Rate). A Random Sampling of books within arms reach indicate that 1 exclamation per sixteen sentences is closer to the norm, and even that is a stretch.
Sincerely,
The Punctuation Police
(who are enjoying this new job)
I'm thoroughly enjoying this persecution of Sandie by the Punctuation Police. I am a "rules" person, so I notice when they get violated, but I don't like to harp on it. After all, not everyone is a rules person. But thanks, Jennie, for taking up the burden!
Hey guys, she's pregnant, stressed and excited so I think this once we could suspend the citation.
I realize being the Punctuation Police is a tough job but somebody has to enjoy doing it and I truly commend your willingness to accept the noble cause.
I vote we suspend Sandie Citations for one month. Hopefully by then she will be her normal self. (Afterall she has be pregnant for almost 2 years. No elephant comments please!)
Love you all,
Mommy
