Picnic Day

After our errands were finished yesterday, I was going to have a picnic with the kids outside. It turned out, however, to be far to hot and buggy in our back yard for that (Spiders. That's all I have to say. Way too many spiders). So instead, we stayed inside, in the nice central air . . . spider-free central air . . . and watched Curious George while we had a carpet picnic.







Sarah had a great deal of trouble staying put. And she got herself all kinds of messy. But we all had fun! We chatted about the movie a lot and snuggled once the eating was over. It was an afternoon well spent.
