We had some brightly colored wooden beads that the twins put onto a spare shoelace. Once the lace was full, we fashioned temporary necklaces from them. Then we took them apart and started all over again. A full hour of fun!
They discovered that there are other ways to have fun with these beads too!

Oh, I'm glad they had such fun! Angie's been all over the beads since we got them...I just posted about it on my blog. I have extra lanyard if the shoelace is too floppy. I'm going to work on the flower pot idea next...or maybe the shirts.
