Potty Training

I've got two babies who are getting ready for this milestone and I've been doing a lot of reading, trying to get some ideas on how other people have managed this. I'm convinced that, for all the confidence the 'experts' try to impart in their writing, this process must be a mystery to everyone. If you do certain things, eventually your baby will somehow, magically, figure the whole thing out. That's all I've been able to glean from the experts.

Anyone else have some insight to share?

Everyone keeps telling me to put cheerios in the toilet & tell my little guy to sink them.

Um...he likes to eat cheerios Waaaaaaay to much. I'm afraid he'd just reach in, grab them, and pop 'em in his mouth before I could stop him!

So...good luck.
I have absolutely no advice on this whatsoever.

Okay. Has the laundry monster gotten you? Are you really that desperate for potty tips? If so, I'll find an old link for you, or you can search on my blog for Rosie's potty training. I just typed in Potty and several came up. PLEASE post something! Don't be a Jessie! I wonder if we can make that a new non-active blogger insult. "Oh, that blog's a jessie." "He pulled a jessie and didn't post for three months." What do you think? Will it catch on? (Sorry Jess.) And obviously, with all this rambling, I have two hands available. Penelope is staring at me and hiccupping and every time I look at her smiles. Gotta love the babies!
