Project done!

I actually did it!

I have before and after photos, but in the process of changing desks, I seem to have misplaced my USB cable for the camera. I promise: I will post pictures soon. It's amazing.

I'm sitting at miles of flat desk top with very little on it. I know that will change soon, as usual, but for now, I'm enjoying the peace!

I had to take apart the computer and carefully lay it aside before removing the old desk and building the new one in its place. Then it took me nearly an hour to put the computer all back together (we have a ridiculous amount of stuff to hook up here . . .) and then, holding my breath, I pushed the button to make sure it was working right.

Nothing.

Ah HA!

I forgot that I had turned off the big switch in the back, just to be safe!

And now, as you can see, everything is working just fine!
