Holiday Mood Setting Tip #1

It seems to go that Momma's mood filters down to the rest of the family. So . . . If you need a little holiday pick-me-up, I highly reccommend that you begin your day with a slight change to your morning coffee.

Add just a pinch of ground cinnamon to your morning coffee along with your sugar and cream or however you usually take it. The spice just says 'Christmas' right from the first sip. You could also add a sprinkle of nutmeg if you like.

Alternately, if you have some on hand, use eggnog in place of your cream or milk.

Enjoy!

Nope. Can't mess with the morning coffee. It's perfect just the way it is.

So, if that's out and you still need some holiday cheer, try hanging the Christmas lights INSIDE the house instead of out! We don't get our tree till late in the month, so the lights on the wall are welcome.

And if you don't drink coffee at all, well, hmmm. We have a ton of decorations inside the house...lights, the tree, knick-knacks and stockings, bows and jingle bells on the door, in addition to the outside lights. It's hard to get Christmassy in 60 degree weather, I find for myself, so the decorations help alot!
