Speaking Of Growing Up

Jennie's children are growing more and more beautiful everyday.

We've had some growing here too.

Today, my children went to their room, opened their drawers and picked out all their own clothes.

Strange I should consider that a milestone when my children are all more than old enough to handle that task? Well, only if you think I'm talking about a kid milestone.

Really, this is a mommy milestone. Nearly all of the children's clothes were clean, folded and put away in the right spot, rather than in a basket somewhere, and, even more than that, the children knew where to find them and expected them to be there, which means I've managed to keep their drawers full of clean clothes long enough to make a habit of it.

Not bad. A little late, but better late than never, right?

Congratulations! I'm good witht he washing and folding. NOt so good with the putting away. Folded clothes linger in the basket for days before I finally get them tucked in their rightful drawers.
