We had a very nice weekend, and we got a lot done, too!
Friday night we went down to West Paterson's Santa thing where the girls enjoyed Santa's beard. (Santa was their Pop Pop!) and they had fun watching all the people who were there. On Saturday, they were supposed to come to Christmas In Kinnelon, but that ended a lot earlier than I thought it was going to, so they wound up napping through it. I went and helped as always, while Sam stayed home with the girls.
Saturday evening was spent at Mommy and Daddy's with Beckie, Miguel and Angie. We celebrated everyone's birtdays (Miguel, Sam and Daddy) because they had all had birthdays in November and Thanksgiving had gotten in the way of a proper "Happy Birthday" day.
Sunday we spent at home. We spent most of the day rearranging our living room/dining room, the bulk of which we did while the girls were napping. Poor Josie woke up half way through the process and she kept looking around trying to figure out what we had done to her play room!
We were also in desperate need of a new television as ours had a picture that was getting darker and darker and it didn't like a lot of white on the screen most of the time. The picture would often flash brighter and darker and the sound would cut out sometimes . . . But yesterday, after planning this for a few months, we were able to get a wonderful television. I can't believe the picture quality on it . . . I didn't realize just how bad our TV was until we plugged the new one in!
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend as well!
