Actually, I've had two lovely days in a row . . .
Yesterday, I had lots of fun cooking. I made a big pot of beans, and of course the corn bread to go with it (if any one wants some, there's more than enough! I think I'll have to freeze half of it . . .) And I made two delicious loaves of banana bread and I made some pumpkin cheese cake. I thought the recipe was for one pie . . . (that's what it says) but it actually filled up TWO pies! My goodness. So . . . If any one wants a pumpkin cheese cake . . .
Today I've managed to get a LOT of laundry done. I really don't like folding and putting away my laundry, and I've had three baskets of clothes waiting for a few weeks! Can you believe that! WEEKS! So today (on my beautifully clean dining room table . . .) I folded everything and I'm working on two loads of laundry now, so once those are folded, everything will be put away. Hopefully before dinner!
The girls have had a bit of a cold. I think it's like whatever Angie had a week or so ago . . . Runny noses but few other symptoms other than just not being themselves. Expecially Katie. She spent a lot of time yesterday just laying down or cuddling with me or her Daddy. She has also been sleeping a lot which has, I think, led to her wonderful recovery today! She's EVERYWHERE at once, I swear. She's back to pulling out all the toys (my living room stayed clean most of yesterday because she didn't really want to play with much . . .), she has "helped" me with my laundry ( I put it in the basket . . . she pulls it out . . . lol) and she has been chasing her sister all over the place. Josie didn't get quite as sick, I think. Her nose runs a lot, but she was still willing to play and smile and laugh the whole time.
Well, I'd better go see what my little angels are up to now . . .
