Naps

I waited a little too long to put the girls to sleep for their morning nap today and BOY am I glad! I had Katie mostly asleep when Josie lost patience with me (I usually cuddle them each to sleep) so I had to put Katie in her crib a little early. Well, she woke up and sat right up and started talking as if she hadn't been just about to pass out. I turned on a CD for her and went to get Josie, who I also cuddled to just about sleeping. But then a light bulb went on . . . Why do I do this? I love snuggling with them, but it just isn't practicle these days, especially with a new baby on the way . . . . what will I do when THAT baby is here? So I put Josie in her crib before she fell all the way asleep. Well within about a half an hour they had both put themselves to sleep with relatively little fuss! Hmm . . . I think this may become our new nap time habit . . . I wonder what we can do with bed time?!
