Katie has been trying to sit on her own! She has done it a few times without realizing it, because she often sits with one hand on the floor while she plays with a toy in the other hand. Sometimes, she lifts up her floor hand too, though she doesn't realize that she's sitting without support! Last night, though, she was working at it in her crib. She was lifting herself up without her hands on the mattress and trying to stay up, but she would fall forwards again and rest her head on the bars. She happily did this for a few minutes before she started getting angry that it wasn't working.
I love watching them learn new things!
