Today . . .

the girls go to the doctor again. We haven't been to the clinic for them in two months, although they have come with me a few times since then. I wonder if they will remember the nurse who gives them shots!

They love their doctor, though, and give him lots of smiles when they see him. He is such a sweet man who obviously adores children. He is always genuinely excited to see the girls. In fact, last time I was there with them for one of my appointments, he came up to see them because the news of their presence in the hospital had reached his ears and he just wanted to see those smiles! How very sweet is that?

I usually find it somewhat difficult to take the girls for shots on my own . . . They tend to need lots of comforting (and with good reason!) and it's so difficult to move on to the next baby when the first one is still upset. Maybe it will go better this time . . .
