. . . We held a small ceremony for Aunt Donna. It was actually quite nice. Poems were read, as well as a passage from the bible, words were spoken about Aunt Donna's life and Beckie and I sang a song for her. It felt good to finally be able to say goodbye.
It seems that from this, we will finally be able to have some kind of a relationship with at least one of our cousins! James will be joining us for Thanksgiving this year. I'm looking forward to getting to know him better. It seems such a shame that we know so little about our family.
