The playground in Maryland was lots of fun.
It didn't look very big when we first drove up, but it was very festive looking, don't you think?
Josie was eying this rock wall for 20 minutes before she decided to try it. She got up just one step and then got back down again. With me behind her, she scrambled all the way up. Just two more times with me behind her and she was confident enough to do it herself. She spent most of the rest of the time here scampering up this thing!
This fish thing is a musical instrument!
Tuned tubes are struck by pushing wooden blocks into them from behind. There is a full scale (repeated, making the fish bones symmetrical) and the kids were playing simple tunes in no time!
