Finally . . .
I spent some time today working out a plan or more like a routine that will help me and my babies handle each day better than we have been. Right now, the girls are working on putting themselves to sleep, which is working better for Josie tonight than Katie. Katie has successfully put herself to sleep twice today for each of her naps, so I'm sure she'll get this one too.
Tonight we had dinner (with solids for the babies, something I haven't been doing consistently), bath with lavender soap (It made me sleepy . . . I wonder if it is really working on the babies . . .), a story, their last bottle for the night and then they were off to bed. I think this routine could work quite nicely every night and I think once I do it for a while consistently, they will learn what is coming next and just naturally go from one thing to the next. Maybe they will learn to fall asleep faster?!
I have high hopes that this will work!

Our evening routine: clean-up, dinner, bath, story, prayers, bedtime...It is so carved in stone, little people almost can't help feeling sleepy after dinner. The power of routine - it really works! That power also gets my new babies into the swing of things in just a couple of weeks.
